Event Guidelines

1. Eligibility

  • Open to all Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) students from recognized Indian institutions
  • Teams must consist of 4–5 members from any institution
  • Each team must register through the official FastFlyrr portal
  • A participant may be part of only one team during the event

2. Registration & Fee Structure

  • Registration Fee: ₹2500 per team (non-refundable)
  • Top 55 teams shortlisted for Grand Finale
  • Fee covers accommodation, meals, and event facilities

3. Prizes & Recognition

1st Prize – 75k

Awarded to the team with the highest overall performance and solution impact across all problem statements.

2nd Prize – 50k

Awarded to the team with the second strongest solution and execution.

3rd Prize – 25k

Awarded to the team with the third strongest solution and overall presentation.

Special Awards
Airstride Award – 10k

Recognizes the team whose project can be deployed fastest in an actual city or airport environment. This award celebrates applied innovation and solutions with immediate real world UAM impact.

FastForge Award – 10k

Given to the team whose project is most suitable for direct integration into FastFlyrrs ecosystem. This award highlights practical solutions that align with FastFlyrrs roadmap, provide operational value, and can be adapted into a real production environment. Teams may also be considered for potential internships at FastFlyrr (USA).

LiftOff Award – 5k

Awarded to the team whose project demonstrates bold, visionary ideas pushing the boundaries of air mobility. Celebrates high-potential concepts that inspire, challenge conventions, and embody the spirit of Drift 2025 innovation.

4. Phases of DRIFT 2025

  • Phase 1: Registration & Ideation
  • Phase 2: Progress Submission & Evaluation (50-60% completion)
  • Phase 3: Shortlisting, Invitation & Confirmation (48-hour window)
  • Phase 4: On-Site Grand Finale (36 Hours at CVR College)

5. Judging & Evaluation Criteria

  • Innovation & Relevance, Technical Execution, Progress & Commitment
  • Impact & Sustainability, Presentation & Demo
  • Judges from FastFlyrr, AAMI, Prady Aviation, and CVR College

6. Conduct & Participation Rules

  • Valid college ID cards and registration confirmation required
  • Adhere to event schedules, deadlines, and code of conduct
  • Plagiarism or unethical behavior leads to disqualification

7. Development Guidelines

  • Use of open-source tools and APIs permitted with attribution
  • Projects must be original and developed by the registered team
  • Final submission includes code, documentation, demo, and presentation

8. Intellectual Property

  • All IP developed remains property of the team
  • Organizers may use submissions for promotion/research purposes
  • Any future collaboration requires mutual written agreement

9. Accommodation, Meals & Support

  • Accommodation and meals provided to confirmed shortlisted teams
  • Technical and medical support available

10. Safety & Campus Conduct

  • Maintain decorum and cleanliness within campus premises
  • Smoking, alcohol, and prohibited substances strictly banned
  • Report emergencies to organizers immediately
